<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To memorize one's own information easily and make spoofing by others difficult, simplify the input reading mechanism of authentication information, and lower one's own denial probability and increase the barrier against the spoofing from others as well. <P>SOLUTION: This method pre-registers in a recording medium both one's own information consisting of at least one unit information looked familiar to himself who registers for the authentication and an information not his own consisting of at least one unit information not looked familiar to himself to form the registration information. A recording medium at least with either the registration information or the connection information for connecting to the recording medium recorded is granted to himself. For his own authentication, the recording medium belonging to himself is used and the registration information recorded directly or indirectly in the recording medium is indicated. A candidate person selects his own information from the registration information.
