<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facility monitoring system which facilitates system restructuring at addition/deletion of a monitoring target facility, reduces cost, and can prevent deterioration in quality of the system. <P>SOLUTION: In the facility monitoring system, which is connected to the monitoring target facility 2 by a transmission channel 4 and provided with a facility monitoring device 1 that monitors this monitoring target facility, the facility monitoring device is provided with a monitoring item master DB 51 which defines monitoring items corresponding to the monitoring target facility, a facility information input means 30 which inputs information in response to an additional monitoring target facility, and a facility addition means 32 which extracts necessary information from the monitoring item master DB according to the information input by the facility information input means and adds the additional monitoring target facility to the monitoring targets. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
