The mat consists of a basic mat (1) attachable to a road course, having a profiling (3) on its upper surface which provides a perceivable and audible vibration to a vehicle passing over the mat. An optical sign is located to be visible in the direction of travel. The sign region is without profiling, having an inclined plane for receiving the sign. The profiling has a sawtooth form, whose short steep sides (13) oppose the direction of travel. The profiling has an isosceles triangle shape in cross section. |
