PURPOSE: An optical pickup head module of a near field optical recording/playback apparatus and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to reduce the manufacturing cost of a slider of the optical pickup head module, and easily mount a solid immersion lens and a first focus lens. CONSTITUTION: A hemispherical solid immersion lens projects a near field beam focused on a recording layer of an optical disk for writing and regenerating data. A first focus lens focuses the near field beam on an upper surface of the solid immersion lens to have a predetermined critical angle for condensing the near field beam at the center part of a lower flat part. A slider(11) includes a solid immersion lens mounting hole(16) formed passing through the upper and lower surfaces, and a first focusing lens mounting part(17) stepped to have an upper opening expanding section, so that the focus lens and the solid immersion lens are integratedly assembled.
