FIELD: mining; applicable in driving of mine workings. SUBSTANCE: tunneling set includes crawler mounting, muck gathering loader, overloader, electric and hydraulic drives, control system. For realization of block cutting method of breakage of coal or mixed with impurities soft rocks of face mass, in driving of development workings with action on face simultaneously in three parts of breast, tunneling set is provided with two hydraulically operated manipulators with cutting bars installed on both sides of tunneling set longitudinal axis, and hydraulically operated manipulator with wedging device along tunneling set longitudinal axis. Each manipulator may move simultaneously with others or independently in horizontal and vertical planes. EFFECT: higher efficiency of mine working driving due to accelerated operation with reduced power consumption higher safety and comfort of operating conditions in breakage face. 9 cl
