PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive tape solving the problem that, when an adhesive tape is to be peeled off, a part of its circumference is forcedly raised off to form a nip point, which is then pinched with fingertips to peel off the tape or cut it with scissors or a cutter; in either case, the tape is hard to be peeled off, and because the dimension of the nip point is indefinite, it is difficult to pinch the nip point with fingertips, therefore such a peeling operation has been troublesome or required much labor; further, because a position of such a nip point easy to peel off cannot be specified, the side of an adhesive tape is tried to peel off at random, thus the operation being inefficient. SOLUTION: This adhesive tape is such one that a foldback width W2 serving as a nipping part is limited to 2-25 mm, and the thickness T of the foldback end 2a of the nipping part is so designed that the thickness of a L1 portion thereof is t and the foldback end 2a can be puffed in an arc fashion owing to its foldback resilient force, thereby the nipping part becomes easy to be caught by fingertips and the easy-to-peel effect of the nipping part is also increased.
