PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely detect the insufficient insertion of a terminal fitting. SOLUTION: Even in a state that a terminal fitting 20 is inserted into the rear position further than that of a lance 12 in a housing 10, that is, a state that of the terminal fitting 20 based on interference of a retainer 30 and the lance 12 caused by the lance 12 which does not elastically bend into a bending space 13 because one part of the terminal fitting 20 is confirmed by visual observation through a window hole 16 for insertion detection, the insufficient insertion of the terminal fitting 20 can be detected by the visual observation and confirmation through this window hole 16 for the insertion detection.
