<p>A path-timing estimator for a RAKE receiver finger relies on an interference cancellation process combined with a non-coherent tracker (7,8). Estimates of interference produced by paths from other fingers are used to reconstruct an interference signal (1) which is subtracted (6) from the de-spread (5) signal.
