APPARATUS FOR SEMI-QUANTITATIVE BAR-CODE VERSION OF IMMUNO-CHROMATOGRAPHIC ASSAY SYSTEM FOR URINARY ALBUMIN AND ANALYTICAL METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: Provided is a semi-quantitative immunoassay system to determine urine albumin by reading the number of colored bars. It is simple to use as general qualitative analytical system such as pregnancy test kit because the semi-quantitative amount is determined by counting the number of colored bars. CONSTITUTION: The immunoassay apparatus comprises: a pad to absorb a sample; a test pad to supply specific antibody polymer to the absorbed sample; an antigen pad to eliminate unreacted polymer in a reaction between sample and polymer; a signal pad which is fixed with functional components catching immunoconjugate passing through the antigen pad, in bar codes; and absorption pad which facilitates the flow of solvent carrying sample.
