PURPOSE: A plasma display panel and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to reduce an unnecessary outer area and expand the size of active screen. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel comprises a hole penetrating through a substrate; an electrode connection unit connected to the electrode formed at the front surface of the substrate and protruded from the rear surface of the substrate passing through the hole; and an electrode drive unit connected to the electrode connection unit and which supplies drive signals for the electrode. The substrate is a glass substrate or a metal substrate. The hole is formed at outer areas(40a,40b) of the substrate. |
