PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flowerpot for vertically planting, having a structure for decreasing plant damages, easily planting and easily preventing soil from washing away, and to provide a flowerpot having a structure for planting in an optional direction. SOLUTION: This flowerpot has a structure of piling up shallow soil loss prevention covers (5) and of forming a planting space in each piling step to decrease plant damages by planting in the space, wherein each cover (5) can be rotated by using cover receiving base supports (3) and so the direction of each opening (4) of the soil loss prevention cover (5) of the flowerpot can be changed.
