<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet carrying device capable of reliably carrying a sheet to a sheet ejecting part in the body of an image forming device or to a sheet processing device, and to provide the image forming device with the same. <P>SOLUTION: A change-over means 523 is provided at a branch point of a first carrying route R1 directing a sheet P to an paper ejecting part 521 provided in the image forming device 400 and a second carrying route R2 directing it to the inside of the sheet processing device, and the sheet P is selectively directed to the ejecting part 521 or to the inside of the sheet processing device. When the head of the sheet P is detected by a first carrying detecting means 407, a second control means 403 provided in the image forming device 400 gives advance notice of the carrying of the sheet P to a first control means 404 in the sheet processing device 402 side, then the first control means 404 controls the change-over means 523 to change over to the second carrying route side upon the receipt of the notice and to change over to the first carrying route side at the detection of the sheet P by the second carrying detecting means 409. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
