VEHICLE OPERATION CONTROL METHOD AND SYSTEM IN VEHICLE EXCLUSIVE ROAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the function of file travel by allowing simultaneous use with the other communication means for coping with failure of inter-vehicle communication when executing data communication between respective vehicles for traveling in a file on a vehicle exclusive road by an inter-vehicle communication means. SOLUTION: In the vehicle exclusive road 1, a vehicle operation control system controls operation by the inter-vehicle communication by the mutual respective vehicles by respectively mounting the inter-vehicle communication means 10 on a plurality of vehicles 2a to 2c. An operation control center 3 or 33 is arranged so that radiocommunication can be performed by using the whole vehicles for traveling on the vehicle exclusive road 1 and wide area radio transmission a such as W-CDMA or narrow area radio transmission j such as a beacon. The vehicle operation control system in the vehicle exclusive road controls the operation by a wide area or narrow area radiocommunication means 4 or 40 by being substituted with the inter-vehicle communication means at inter-vehicle communication failure time and specific vehicle abnormal time by monitoring an operation state such as respective positions and a speed of the plurality of vehicles 2a to 2c.
