PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information communication equipment capable of controlling a power consumption mode so as to avoid wasteful power. SOLUTION: On the occurrence of an event for driving power consuming elements in an off state among a plurality of power consuming elements (a read section 104, a print section 105, and an operation section 106 or the like), the power consumption mode is immediately transited to a mode where only each power supply for power consuming elements whose power is activated on the occurrence of the event and for the power consuming elements related to the event is turned on, and on the occurrence of an event for stopping the drive of the power consuming elements whose power is turned on among the plurality of the elements, the power consumption mode is transited to a mode where only the power consuming elements other than the elements related to the event which is turned on at a lapse of a prescribed time when the prescribed time passes after the occurrence of the event.
