A sloped part high-speed escalator, comprising steps having a step body, drive roller shafts, drive rollers, driven roller shafts, and driven rollers, the step body further comprising step treads and risers, wherein the driven rollers are disposed in an area where an area on the lower side of a straight line coming into contact with the lower end parts of the risers and parallel with the intermediate sloped part of a circulating passage is overlapped with an area on the lower side of a horizontal straight line coming into contact with the lower end parts of the risers when the steps are viewed from a side with the step treads positioned on an upper side in horizontal state.
