An aerosol collector comprises a first filter element (5) forming a coalescing device and a second filter element (6) forming a separator arranged above the first element. A crude gas stream containing aerosol is allowed to pass through the first filter element and then through the second filter element. Each filter element has a demister (9, 10) which includes an angle to the horizontal so that each demister run in the direction of their upper edges. Preferred Features: The demisters are formed as square plates. The surfaces of the demisters have an angle of 50-70[deg]C to the horizontal. The demisters are inserted into cavities via an opening (16). The filter elements are assigned to spraying units. |
