<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely perform optical communication with only a portable information terminal mounted on a mounting part. <P>SOLUTION: On a main body of a mounting apparatus 12, a mounting part 15a is formed for mounting a BHT (Bar-cord Handy Terminal), an electrical component storage part 16 is provided on the side of the mounting part 15a. In the storage part 16, a circuit board 21 having an optical communication device 22 for communicating with the mounting BHT by a light beam.
