PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rationally constitute a photographic printing device in which printing becomes possible in a short time even when the environmental temperature is extremely low. SOLUTION: The photographic printing device is equipped with a cooling fan 46 for sending outdoor air as cooling air to a heat sink 38 disposed on the under surface of a unit case 30 of an exposure unit Eu, the heat sink is provided with an electric heater 39, is equipped with a temperature sensor for measuring the temperature of a semiconductor laser beam source within the exposure unit Eu, and is equipped with a temperature control section for driving the electric heater 39 when the temperature is judged to be lower than an adequate temperature range in accordance with the temperature information from the temperature sensor and for driving the cooling fan 46 when the temperature is judged to be higher than the adequate temperature range.
