PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter for test piece capable of automatically falling a test piece into an input pipe with the minor diameter side turned in a transmitting direction only by simply placing the test piece on a transmitting start base regardless of the direction. SOLUTION: Two block-like slide members 8 and 9 for supporting the test piece TP from under in a laying state are arranged above the input port 3 of a pneumatic tube 2 so as to be approachable and separable horizontally with the input port 3 as the center, and slide drive systems for relatively approaching or separating both the slide members 8 and 9 are provided on the slide members 8 and 9 so as to be mutually linked. Accordingly, the slide members 8 and 9 are mutually approached to place the test piece TP and then mutually separated, whereby the test piece TP is fallen into the input port 3 with the minor diameter side downward.
