A manual change gear transmission (1, fig 1) has three shift forks (23,24,25, fig 1) supported by shift rails 28,29,30,31, arranged in pairs. The rails 28,29,30,31 have a cutout 42a,42b,42c,42d used as an interlocking notch and a cutout (43a,43b,43c,43d, fig 8) for blocking the shift rail 28,29,30,31. A shift rail selector 46 having two tongues 47,48 which fit into the cutouts 42a,42b,42c,42d and being operated by a conventional shift finger, is seated in a support 52 inside a cassette housing (53, fig 9). The support 52 has a blocking rib (58, fig 9) with cutouts (60,61, fig 9) which engage cutouts (43a,43b,43c,43d, fig 8) and can release a shift rail 28,29,30,31. The support 52 can be kept in an initial position by a pre-stressing device 62 eg. a spring. |
