<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make effectively usable a specified bill storage for performing the loading or recovering of bills as a bill storage for performing the paying of bills in a bill receiving and paying machine, and to enable a continuous and high-speed loading, recovering or paying of bills. <P>SOLUTION: This bill receiving and paying machine is provided with an inlet and outlet port 2 for putting and receiving bills; a bill judgment part 3 for judging bills; two or more bill storages 6-9 and 8a for housing bills; a normally and reversely carriable annular main carrying passage 5a for carrying bills via the bill judgment part; and connecting carrying passages 5d, 5i and 5j for connecting the inlet and outlet port 2 and the bill storages 6-9 and 8a to the main carrying passage 5a. The two or more bill storages 6-9 and 8a are vertically laminated to constitute a bill storage group, and the specified bill storage 8a is connected to the main carrying passage in parallel and through a unit carrying passage 5a for performing the loading or recovering of bills and a unit carrying passage 5c for performing the paying of bills. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
