PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater radiation measuring device capable of performing decontamination or maintenance in a short time without requiring water resistance. SOLUTION: This device has a constitution equipped with a hollow pipe 2 provided with one end facing to a radiation source 1 in water 17, and a radiation detector 4 provided on a prolongation from the other end of the hollow pipe 2 in a detector container 3 dipped in the water 17 and forming an atmospheric environment.
