STYRENE-BASED RESIN COMPOSITION HAVING PERMANENT ANTI-STATIC PROPERTY AND PREPARATION THEREOF

PURPOSE: A styrene-based resin composition which has permanent anti-static property without using any compatibilizers, and excellent mechanical and physical properties is provided. CONSTITUTION: The styrene based resin composition having permanent anti-static property is prepared by mixing 5 to 40 wt% of a polyethylene oxide-polyvinyl copolymer with a polymer matrix. The polyethylene oxide-polyvinyl copolymer can be obtained by applying a high intensity ultrasonic wave to the aqueous mixture containing 10 to 50 wt% of polyethylene oxide, 0.5 to 25 wt% of a vinyl monomer which can be polymerized by radical polymerization and distilled water to perform the polymerization.
