PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ordinary temperature-curable coating composition capable of forming a coating film having excellent weatherability, coating film gloss, storage stability, initial drying property, workability in double coating and other physical properties. SOLUTION: The ordinary temperature-curable coating composition contains a silicone-modified vinyl resin of oxidation-curing type obtained by bonding a vinyl copolymer (a) containing an epoxy group, which is a copolymer of a polymerizable unsaturated monomer containing an epoxy group, a polymerizable unsaturated monomer containing a cyclohexyl group and other copolymerizable unsaturated monomers as required, with a fatty acid component (b) containing an unsaturated fatty acid and also with a silicone resin (c) containing a hydroxide group and/or an alkoxy group bonded directly to a silicon atom.
