<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more increase the information quantity to be transmitted, using a multi-value modulation system. <P>SOLUTION: At the transmit side, transmission signals are separated into first information signals combined with spreading codes and second information signals other than the first information signals and a combination of the spreading codes corresponding to the first information signals is selected to apply a spreading modulation processing to the second information signals, using the selected combination of spreading codes. At the receive side, a dispreading processing is applied to received signals with the spreading codes used at the transmit side and the combination of the spreading codes used at the transmit side is selected to obtain the first information signals combined with the spreading codes, using the dispreading signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
