The piezoelectric device has a ceramic piezoelement stack divided into stack elements, each containing a number of piezoceramic layers (12) alternating with inner electrode layers (21,22), combined together via a number of intermediate adhesion layers (3). The overall elasticity modulus of the adhesion layers lies between 0.1 and 10 GPa for a temperature range of between 150 and 200 degrees C. An Independent claim for a manufacturing method for a stacked piezoelectric device is also included.
