PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display is provided to reduce parasitic capacitance generated due to overlap of repair lines and a common electrode, thereby reducing distortion of signals. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of gate lines(21) and data lines(22) cross each other on a first substrate(S1). A display area(D) has a plurality of pixel areas formed by the gate lines and the data lines. A plurality of repair lines(81,82,83) cross the data lines outside the display area on the first substrate. A second substrate(S2) faces the first substrate. A black matrix(120) is formed on the second substrate. A common electrode is formed on the black matrix, having aperture patterns formed at parts overlapped with the repair lines.
