POSITIONING OF HOLDING MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning device for a holding member for positioning by aligning each component for guiding light with each other with high accuracy. SOLUTION: This positioning device for the holding member 8 has a holder 2 provided with a holding cup 10 capable of inserting the holding member 8 in a radial direction and a rotating device 13 operating together with the holding member 8 when the holding member 8 is inserted into the holding cup 10 and capable of adjusting a rotating direction of the holding member 8 around the longitudinal axis 9 with respect to the holding cup 10. The holding member 8 includes driving components 18;18';18'' having at least one group constituted of a radial direction ledge and a radial direction recessed portion. The rotating device 13 cooperates with the driving components 18;18';18'' to execute the adjustment of the rotating direction of the holding member 8. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
