PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a laminate having a photosetting resin composition layer showing satisfactory adhesive properties, formed on the surface of a poorly adhesive base material, and to provide a method for manufacturing an information recording medium. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing a laminate comprises the steps to previously form a photopolymerization initiator layer on the surface of a base material with a part having a contact angle with water of 76°or higher, then form the photosetting resin composition layer on the surface of the photopolymerization initiator layer and cure the resin composition layer by light emission as a coated layer.
