ASHTRAY WITH EXTINGUISHING FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ashtray with extinguishing function having a simple belt driving mechanism enabling the tension of rotary belts to be regulated without using a separate tension pulley. SOLUTION: This ashtray with extinguishing function comprises two rotary belts turningly moving while pressing on each other and functioning to put out a cigarette by sandwiching it in the pressing zone and a cigarette butt vessel placed under the belts and allowing cigarette butts to accumulate upon extrudingly falling from the belts; wherein each of the rotary belts spans the range from a driving roller to a driven roller and each of the driven rollers is supported so as to be movable to be brought close to or apart from the driving roller.
