<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treatment base material which is excellent in maintenance of biodegradation effect by microorganisms, having a long service life, and high in biodegradation rate, effectively uses bark which has been rejected so far, can reduce costs by reducing the number of processes, does not need the use of expensive bacteria formulation, and is advantageous in terms of costs and a method for producing the base material. <P>SOLUTION: The garbage treatment base material is composed of wood granules 1 obtained by crushing wood and bark granules 2 obtained by crushing the bark of Japanese cedar or another conifer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
