PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car position detecting system so that an elevator system for wireless communication of signals between an elevator control device and a car seizes the accurate position of the car during travelling at a real time on the side of the control device, accurately obtains a deceleration start position and a floor stop position and assures accurate travelling control and precise arrival at stop floors. SOLUTION: An installation system comprises car position detecting devices requiring a power line and a signal line, installed on floors, and a car position detecting device requiring no power line and no signal line, installed in the car. The elevator system having no movable wire between the car and the control device allows the detection of the accurate car position during travelling, assures accurate positional precision in arriving at the stop floors and permits the travelling control of the car similar to that by wire.
