PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee a rocking function of a segment over a long period of time. SOLUTION: In a merchandise housing rack of an automatic vending machine, a pivot-shaped part 20b is formed at the upper end part of the segment 20 by forming the upper part of the segment 20 constituting a merchandise path into a cylindrical shape, and the segment 20 is supported rockably by inserting the end part of the pivot-shaped part 20b through an insertion hole 21a of a side board 21. The upper part of the segment 20 is subjected to folding along folding lines X and Y such that a part to be the end edges 20d and 20e of the segment 20 in the pivot-shaped part 20b is located outside the contact area where the pivot-shaped part 20b and an inner circumferential face of the insertion hole 21a come in contact due to the rocking of the segment.
