<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ordering system capable of notifying a guest of an order processing stage in real time. <P>SOLUTION: In the ordering system 1, an order processing means 10 is connected to terminals 20 for ordering through a LAN line 40. When a slip medium 31 is set in a slip describing means 30 belonging to the terminal 20 for ordering, the terminal 20 for ordering that has been of a quiescent operating state starts. When the guest inputs an order in the terminal 20 for ordering, the contents of the order are described in the slip medium 31 and also transmitted to the order processing means 10 to start order processing. An order processing step is sequentially displayed on the terminal 20 for ordering. The guest receives an ordered service, and then carries the slip medium 31 to an adjusting means 50 with the guest himself/herself to perform adjustment.
