PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide entrance and exit mechanisms for a plate to be treated in a liquid treating vessel of a structure which prevents the slippage of the plate to be treated and a tool plate and the disengagement of the plate to be treated from the tool plate by the resistance of rollers disposed in the entrance and exit sections of the liquid treating vessel and does not give rise to the need for regulating each time the nipping width of a pair of the rollers at every difference in the thickness of the treating plate. SOLUTION: The entrance and exit mechanisms disposed in the entrance and exit sections of the liquid treating vessel 12 which perpendicularly hangs the plate 110 to be treated to the tool plate and passes the plate in a parallel direction are equipped with a pair of the seal rollers 22 which are respectively disposed in the entrance and exit sections, seal the liquid in the vessel, rotate by nipping the plate to be treated and transfer the plate to be treated into and out of the treating vessel, a pair of the revolving rollers 24 which hold the plate to be treated therebetween, arranged to abut on the tool plate passing the upper part of the liquid treating vessel and rotate by nipping the tool plate therebetween and gear trains 26, 28 and 30 which are respectively arranged between the revolving rollers and the seal rollers and are constructed to rotate the revolving rollers and the seal rollers in synchronization.
