In a communication network comprising at least one access point (AP1) and having a wireless part comprising at least first and second mobile stations (MTa, MTb), when the first and second mobile stations (MTa, MTb) enter into communication through the access point (AP1), the access point (AP1) broadcasts a message of creation of a temporary sub-network, constituted by the first and second mobile stations (MTa, MTb), in which the first mobile station (MTa) is in direct communication with the second mobile station (MTb), said creation message containing an evaluation of the overall quality of service of the communication network before the creation of said sub-network.
