PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package type power generation apparatus provided with a generator, an engine, etc., and having a structure of a hanging member regardless of a hanging position of a hoisting device to lift or lower the power generation apparatus while a holding horizontal attitude. SOLUTION: In this package type power generation apparatus 1 including the engine 11, the generator 12, etc., in a case body 3 internally, the hanging member 40 hanging the hoisting device 41 for lifting the power generation apparatus 1 is a barlike body or a cylindrical body in which a hanging part 40a which is substantially central part of the hanging member 40 has a smaller diameter than that of the other part.
