<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for correctly judging whether a tissue or cell component derived from a specific biological species is included in a sample such as of feed, feed additive, feed-related product, processed food, processed food material, food additive, pharmaceutical, pharmaceutical additive, functional food, cosmetic or cosmetic additive. <P>SOLUTION: This method for judging the presence/absence of a component derived from a biological species in a test sample or judging the species comprises hybridizing a nucleic acid derived from the test sample with an oligonucleotide synthesized based on a sequence specific to the species among DNA sequences corresponding to the ribosome RNA gene or cytochrome-related gene of the target species to detect a nucleic acid specific to the target species. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
