<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved conference call establishing service for improving the efficiency of a conference call. <P>SOLUTION: In a multimedia communication system (100), a conference establishing server adjusts scheduling of a conference call. The server receives a request to the conference call (202). The server decides a conference time based on the request and notifies a participant of the time (204, 206 and 210). The participant is informed of the time again before the conference time, and is automatically connected to the call. To determine availability, the server may check status of a user in a communication network.
