GEOSYNTHETIC CLAY LINER FOR DRAINING LEACHATE IN LANDFILL

PURPOSE: A geosynthetic clay liner for drainage leachate in a landfill is provided to improve tensile strength, vertical and horizontal permeability and contact shear strength. CONSTITUTION: The geosynthetic clay liner for draining leachate in a landfill comprises the steps of installing base fabrics(10) formed by intersecting the warp and woof at right angles using filament yarn or spun yarn on primary woven fabrics(20), placing geonet(30) on secondary woven fabrics(40), attaching base fabrics(10) on one side of the primary woven fabrics(20) by needle-punching, and placing primary woven fabrics(20) on the top of the geonet(30) to make the base fabrics(10) face upward, then thermal welding.
