APPARATUS AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING BLOCKING OF SERVO MOTOR

PURPOSE: A blocking control apparatus is provided to prevent a blocking of a servo motor by calculating a speed value and an acceleration value according to an encoder signal from a motor encoder and detecting whether or not of an abnormality of a motor. CONSTITUTION: A digital signal processor(22) calculates a position request signal from a signal generator to generate a three-phase PWM signal. An inverter(24) converts the three-phase PWM signal into an AC signal to drive the motor(26). An encoder(28) generates an encoder signal indicating a position value based on a rotation of the motor. A speed calculating part(36) integrates the encoder signal to calculate a speed value. An acceleration calculating part(38) integrates the speed value to calculate an acceleration value. A judgement processing part(42) compares reference parameter values from a user to compare received reference parameter values with the speed and acceleration values. The judgement processing part generates a blocking prevention signal.
