PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote testing apparatus for a protective device in which an artificial readout error does not occur and by which an operator need not go to a distant place for a test. SOLUTION: The remote testing apparatus for the protective device comprises a first personal computer 3 installed on the side of the protective device 1, an AC voltage-current generator 4 which is connected to the computer 3 so as to be controlled and which generates an AC signal to be input to the protective device 2, an AC input measuring device 5 connected to the protective device 2, a transmission means by which measured result data on the protective device 2 is transmitted to the computer 3 on the basis of an input to the protective device 2, a second personal computer 8 which is connected to the computer 3 via a communication means 7 and which displays the measured result data on the protective device 2 transmitted via the computer 3, and a printer 9 which is connected to the computer 8 and which prints a measured value.
