PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus having at least one flow-through reaction chamber for inspecting at least one sample on a sensor chip. SOLUTION: The apparatus has (a) sensor chip, (b) a number of probe arrays that are spatially separated one another on a sensor chip for arranging and correspond to a number of samples to be inspected, (c) an upper member, and (d) the number of chambers that are spatially separated for arranging in the upper member and corresponds to the number of arrays. The chamber has introduction and discharge ports each. The position and dimensions of the probe array and chamber are determined so that each reaction chamber that is properly positioned on each probe array has the introduction and discharge ports and is relatively formed when the upper member and sensor chip are accurately aligned for combining.
