PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noncontact rotation position sensor which enable integration of parts, miniaturization, simplification of assembling, and precision increase. SOLUTION: A rotor (permanent magnet) 31 is fitted to a rotary shaft 40. Hall ICs 6 are interposed between the upper stator 4 and a lower stator 2 of magnetic boards. The Hall ICs 6 respond to magnetic flux densities which change corresponding to the position of rotation of the rotor 31. A housing 1 into which the rotor and the Hall ICs are fitted, is integrally equipped with a connector 60 provided with external connecting terminals 70A. Conductors 7A-7C which connect the external terminals 70A-70C to the input/output terminals 8A-8C of the Hall ICs 6 are buried in the housing 1 by insert forming. Single-side ends 7A'-7C' of the conductors are exposed at certain specified positions of the input/output terminals 8A-8C. The terminals of the Hall ICs are guided with guides and are joined to the single-side ends 7A'-7C' of the conductors. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
