PURPOSE: A process of preparing a microbial flora formulation by inoculating and culturing a useful microbial flora in an aqueous solution of tropic plants, fruits, seaweed extract, Phellinus linteus or the like is provided. Therefore, the formulation can be used in manufacture of a health beverage having intestinal regulation, antitumor activity, antistress activity and antihyperglycemic activity. CONSTITUTION: A mixture of 1 to 12% by weight of tropic plants, 1 to 8% by weight of kelp extract, 1 to 5% by weight of rice water, 1 to 10% by weight of molasses, 1 to 5% by weight of Phellinus linteus and 0.1 to 1.0% by weight of B-complex vitamins is added with mineral water to produce an aqueous solution, a useful microbial flora is inoculated into the aqueous solution and then cultured at 27 to 35deg.C for 15 to 35 days in a culture tank. The useful microbial flora is composed of photosynthetic bacteria, lactic acid bacteria, yeast, Actinomyces, a koji mold or the like.
