The invention relates to the chemistry of co-ordinative compounds of the transition metals, namely to the first representatives of the new class Á3-oxo-complexes of copper with polydentate ligands. These compounds may be used in medicine or veterinary medicine manifesting antimycotic activity with respect to fungi and mycelia. Summary of the invention consists in the synthesis of the nitrate of (Á3-oxo)-tris-{(Á2-Ophenoxy)-2-[(2-hydroxybenzylidene)amino-2-hydroxymethyl¡propane]¡1,3-diolo-aquacopper(II)} dihydrate of the formula <CHFORM>manifesting antimycotic activity.Claims: 2Fig.: 4
