PURPOSE: A multimedia streaming service system in a wireless Internet and a method therefor are provided to offer a service about a multimedia message to a streaming client through interworking between a streaming server and an MMS(Multimedia Message Service) relay. CONSTITUTION: A WA(Wireless Access) gateway(90) receives a multimedia message from a transmission client(81) through a wireless network, and transmits streaming data to a reception client(82) through the wireless network. An MMS relay(100) receives the multimedia message from the WA gateway(90) through an IP(Internet Protocol) network, convert the received multimedia message, and transmits streaming data to the WA gateway(90) through the IP network. A streaming server(110) receives and stores the multimedia message converted in the MMS relay(100), and transmits streaming data to the MMC relay(100). |
