PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct an asymmetrical mislanding pattern called 'shift' and 'truncated chevron shape' to enhance white color quality of the color image receiving tube. SOLUTION: A photosensitive coating film formed on the inner surface of a face panel is irradiated with light emitted from a light source 1 having almost a linear emission part through a slit plate 2 and a correcting lens system 5 to expose the photosensitive coating film. The slit plate 2 has a 'dog leg shape' aperture symmetric to a straight line parallel to the length direction of the emission part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
