<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device in which energy saving is realized by the stop of a control part and the operation of the control part is resumed. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device has at least two controllers, a printer controller 1 and a print engine controller 2. The print engine controller 2 has a function of setting the control part 1 to a stop mode in order to save energy on request from the printer controller 1. The printer controller 1 and the print engine controller 2 independently have the function of controlling the supply of power to a zero-cross detection circuit 9 and to a heater control circuit 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
