The aim of the invention is to produce a device which permits the optimal cleaning of material to be washed with varying degrees of contamination arranged in a crockery basket, according to the degree of contamination. Said aim is achieved by means of the inventive device for washing material to be washed with at least one crockery basket, whereby at least two spraying devices (2a - 2d) for particular regions are provided for at least one crockery basket (1) and said device comprises a controller (4) for individual control of the at least two spray devices (2a - 2d) on a crockery basket during the washing.
